Responsibilities
Articulate a vision and drive execution for cloud resource automation and operations.
Design and build new cloud technologies and an API management system.
Work with engineering teams and leadership to ensure development teams have the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools.
Provide mentorship to grow technical skills and careers of others.
Foster a DevOps culture, automation, and modern tooling.
Communicate effectively with technical, business, and leadership teams.

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, experience, and training in Computer Science or a related field.
12+ years of experience in public cloud infrastructure and tools, software development, and automation.
Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or an equivalent.
Strong, proven proficiency with AWS, especially with core services such as Lambda, and ECS; experience with AWS best practices and familiarity with a broad range of AWS tools and services.
Ability to provide mentorship to grow the technical skills and careers of others with consideration of their career stage and personal trajectory
Passion for DevOps culture, automation, and modern tooling
Ability to communicate effectively depending on the audience technical teams, business teams, and leadership teams
Preferred
Basic familiarity with cloud platforms Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP); ability to navigate and understand fundamental tools and concepts within these environments is a plus
Experience in end-to-end API Gateway development, particularly Kong.
Strong networking skills and F5 BIG-IP and Cloudflare experience are highly desirable.
Experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests required. Continuous delivery experience preferred. Tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions preferred.
Experience delivering software using an agile development process
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical teams
Ability to work and participate in a team with an open and collaborative style of communications
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
