Responsibilities

Develop data products, infrastructure, and data pipelines leveraging AWS services (such as Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, etc.) and internal Amazon tools (Datanet, Cradle, QuickSight, etc.)

Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines

Communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions, and data engineering strategy

Craft, implement, and operate stable, scalable, low-cost solutions to flow data from production systems into the data lake

Work with business owners to understand data requirements and build and ingest data into the data lake

Passionate about working with huge datasets and bringing datasets together to answer business questions and drive growth

Required

3+ years of data engineering experience

Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Develop data products, infrastructure and data pipelines leveraging AWS services (such as Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda etc.) and internal Amazon tools (Datanet, Cradle, QuickSight etc.)

Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS

Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions and data engineering strategy
