Required
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver`s license.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
This position requires current registration as a Professional Engineer OR Professional Architect in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any State in the U.S.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Coordinating the actions of diverse groups for planning, design and construction components of facilities projects, such as project/scope approval, site approval and waivers for design exceptions.
Providing subject matter expert-level guidance to engineers, architects and technicians on architectural and engineering methods for the design, repair, alteration, rehabilitation, installation, improvement or demolition of facilities.
Conducting architectural and/or engineering studies and investigations which form the basis for funding future projects.
Reviewing architectural and engineering plans and designs for accuracy, adequacy and economy of design, choice of materials, completeness, practicability and safety as well as to determine conformance technical guidance, criteria and good construction practice.
