Responsibilities
Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic signal design, and transportation planning analyses.
Perform traffic capacity and operational analyses using industry-standard software such as Synchro, HCS, and more.
Assist in the design and implementation of traffic control devices, including traffic signals, signs, and pavement markings.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other project deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including transportation planners, civil engineers, and environmental specialists, to develop integrated solutions to transportation challenges.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.

Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license required within
Proficiency in traffic engineering software such as Synchro and Microstation required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in traffic engineering or related field preferred
