Responsibilities

Strategic planning: Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth that align with the MPD growth targets
Sales support: Acting as the lead and coordinator on large opportunities with key customers
Customer facing: Networking at industry events, promote the Sterlitech brand, conduct collaborative meetings with key decision makers
Prospecting: Creating opportunity for the sales team though lead generation from current and new customers
Market Research & Analysis: Conducting high-level industry research, identify and develop target markets, prospective accounts, and market MPD growth opportunities
Relationship building: Meet with customers and colleagues to build positive relationships and develop sales and marketing strategies
Financial projections: Prepare financial projections with action plans to meet the MPD 1-year, 3-year and 5-year goals
Collaboration: Communicating and collaborating internally with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Engineering and others
Training: Assist in training sales professionals to improve their skills, educating prospects and customers on the Sterlitech MPD product portfolio
Product: Understanding the product portfolio for MPD, applications and industry opportunities
Travel: up to 30% domestic

Required

2+ years in a Business Development or Strategic Accounts role
2+ years prior experience in Sales, Customer Service, or Marketing
Degree in business, marketing, biology, chemistry or engineering (MBA is a plus)
Experience with membranes and / or crossflow/TFF is highly preferred
A background in medical device, lab, food and beverage, water quality, or technical sales
Sharp networking skills
A commitment to self-development (Recent sales training within the last 2 years is a plus)
Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
Exceptional project management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiasm and curiosity for Sterlitech, it’s growth potential, and our customer’s needs
Experience selling to the C-Suite, engineering
Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred

MBA
Recent sales training within the last 2 years
Bilingual is helpful, but not necessary
Prior experience with Sterlitech products is a plus!
