Responsibilities
Create videos and animated educational content for K-5 digital learning on contemporary Africa.
Adapt scripts into video formats, with each video typically ranging between 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
Produce 2 or 3 videos over the summer, with each video taking an estimated 5 to 12 hours to produce.
Work with a team of experts to render scripted material into illustrations, visuals, and digital formats.
Weekly hours will range between 5 to 14, depending on edits and revisions of the content.

Required
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in audiovisual equipment operation and maintenance, graphic design, and/or photography; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Entry-level experience in animation production and professional videos.
Proficiency rendering scripted material into illustrations, visuals, and digital formats.
Proficiency in video and animation software and in adding voice overs to videos.
Must be able to come to the UNC Global Education Center on select occasions.
Preferred
Have a portfolio of completed projects.
Experience working in African Studies.
