Responsibilities
Design and document test cases based on project requirements and specifications
Develop a test plan and test cases/scripts in alignment with acceptance criteria and application requirements
Execute manual tests, including system integration testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), usability testing, and ad hoc testing
Utilize bug tracking and documentation tools such as Jira to report and manage issues discovered during testing
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results and ensure timely resolution of identified issues
Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities to optimize testing efforts
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency
Provide feedback and insights to improve product usability and user experience
Write and execute SQL queries to perform data validation, verify data integrity, and support back-end testing efforts
Perform Regression and Smoke Testing after upgrades, O&M patches, production deployments - on-demand ad-hoc testing
Produce status reports and metrics related to the testing process
