Responsibilities

Elevate product quality by providing accessibility design and annotation support to product teams.
Advise product, design, and engineering teams on accessibility best practices and decisions.

Contribute to accessible guidelines and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Act as a subject matter expert on accessibility, staying updated on industry trends and standards.

Required

5+ years UX experience
2+ years of experience with digital accessibility or inclusive design
Strong attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-driven
Knowledge and experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 accessibility standards and guidelines
Knowledge of disability law including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, and Affordable Care Act Section 1557
Knowledge of assistive technology and contributing to design systems for digital products
Proficient with testing using keyboard only, switch devices, screen reader(s) such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and Talkback and accessibility assessment, inspection & evaluation tools
Experience using project management tools (e.g. Jira, Airtable)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

Experience working within a large design team preferred
CPACC certification
