Responsibilities
Coordinate cross team analysis of existing application, destination application and ETL.
Identify user and system requirements and document user stories for SCRUM development
Identify root cause of data problems and recommend solutions
Identify process or project risk and suggest mitigation
Work with outside vendors and contractors to facilitate service delivery
Lead and coordinate change management process in SCRUM

Required
3+ Experienced in gathering and documenting requirements and user stories in Agile environment
5+ Strong SQL skills, ability to write and execute advanced SQL in both Oracle and SQL Server
5+ Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
10+ Working in Information Technology
Preferred
Ability to manage a Scrum or Kanban team
Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops preferred
Experience in having worked on prior implementations/conversions from a legacy system
Experience with Defined Benefit Pension Plans preferred
Defined Benefit Pension Plan knowledge to understand data requirements and use
Experience with Base Benefits or Benefits Administration systems
Experience with Pension Administration systems
Experience with Payroll Systems
Provide troubleshooting for isolating functional / technical problems within the PeopleSoft application
Demonstrated superior, current hands-on functional experience in one or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: HRMS, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, Payroll
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification(s)
Functional experience with PeopleSoft HRMS, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, and/or Payroll
Project Team experience utilizing Agile Methodologies
Communicates respectfully and works harmoniously with all co-workers, customers and vendors
Highly collaborative and transparent
Ability to quickly grasp the complexities of the Employees Retirement System of Texas business mission to our members
Ability to handle multiple competing tasks and meet deadlines, work efficiently and productively, communicate both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence
Attends work regularly as scheduled; dedicated engagement with ERS staff and resources
Actively participates in meetings, scrum sessions, and meets deadlines
Submits all timesheets timely and accurately
