Responsibilities
Independently apply Software Engineering knowledge to the entire software life cycle, from requirements definition, development and maintenance, to performance optimization, scripting languages and APIs in order to fuel our ambition to be the easiest insurer for our benefit administrators (external tech partners) to integrate with.
Provide leadership to influence the direction of a team including providing mentorship to less tenured team members
Can play multiple roles (e.g.: individual contributor, leader, coach, mentor).
Translates business/user requirements into technical requirements and applies creative problem solving that bring these requirements to fruition for a team. Creates and reuses designs and design artifacts.
Pursue Operational Excellence in all endeavors, striving on a routine basis to identify and implement continuous process improvements

Required
Professionally contributed to solution development, documentation, and implementation over the last 3+ years in: Anypoint Studio / MuleSoft / DataWeave, RAML / OAS API Specifications, JSON Schemas, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline including Gradle / Maven dependency management, Gradle Plugins, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Testing tools including MUnit, Postman, BDD test automation tools
Learns quickly when facing new problems and is a relentless and versatile learner, open to change. Analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement and a willingness to work out of your comfort zone.
Have a collaborative attitude and a willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews and share skills and methods with their team.
You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
Preferred
Intermediate MuleSoft Anypoint Studio (Dataweave) configuration and tuning.
Participated and/or lead the coordination of the full SDLC of software releases.
Test Driven Development (TDD), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
