Responsibilities
Receive files for properties in default process.
Review and monitor credit sources, credit files, customer applications, and delinquent accounts.
Obtain required information from credit organizations, banks, and loan associations.
Maintain records on credit risks, delinquent accounts, and incomplete files.
Send follow-up letters.
Accept payment on certain accounts.
Responsible for analyzing mortgagors' financial position to determine eligibility for options to foreclosure.
Provide an objective and meaningful analysis for management decisions.
Negotiate with mortgagors, real estate agents, attorneys, and vendors to mitigate losses.
Counsel mortgagors towards foreclosure avoidance.
Thoroughly document all actions.
