Responsibilities
Accurate and timely follow-up on claims that have not received a response, have been denied, or have been under/overpaid
Identification of root causes and denial trends to prevent additional denials
Accurate write-offs following the identification of uncollectible accounts
Participation in team meetings to enhance front-end claim edits and resolution
Meeting established productivity and quality metrics for the AR Department

Required
High School Graduate/GED required
1-3 years of experience working in healthcare revenue cycle
Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, government, managed care, and commercial insurances
Strong organization skills, attention to detail, research, and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
Understanding of the revenue cycle and how the various components work together
