Responsibilities
Meet cybersecurity requirements of Strategic Systems Program (SSP) for the Trident tactical, trainer, and auxiliary systems. - Ensure a value-driven approach to monitoring and assessing cyber resiliency through cost-effective inspection, validation, and monitoring methodologies to support integrated Risk Management Framework (RMF) for program assets.
Execute Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans and remediate all findings.
Ensure systems are Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) compliant.
Develop cybersecurity artifacts on order to receive a Authorization to Operate (ATO).
Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering resources and stakeholders on programs.
Build and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders throughout supporting programs.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
This position is in Mitchel Field, NY.
This position will require on-site presence with the flexibility of working remotely occasionally.
This position involves occasional travel.

Required
B.S. degree in a technical discipline (Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Security, or Information Technology).
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Experience with Real Time Embedded Operating Systems.
Security+ certification.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Preferred
Familiarity with the process and artifacts needed to obtain an Authorization To Operate (ATO).
Experience executing Systems Engineering processes (requirements management, requirements decomposition, system modeling, integration & test).
Experience analyzing, decomposing, and allocating security controls into executable security requirements at the system, sub-system and component level.
Experience conducting technical trade studies and assessments.
Experience with engineering change processes and/or configuration control processes.
