Responsibilities

Lead teams of technologists to deliver end-to-end application or infrastructure services for the firm's business operations

Implement policies and procedures to maintain operational stability and availability

Monitor production environments, address anomalies, and enhance the use of observability tools

Escalate and communicate issues and solutions to stakeholders, participating in incident resolution and service restoration

Manage incident, problem, and change management for technology systems, applications, or infrastructure

Required

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services

Knowledge of front office trading applications and North America equity markets

Experience in Incident and Problem management

Strong communication skills to translate technical language into meaningful business impact statements

Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages (Unix Shell, Python) plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed

Have an understanding of the Agile methodology

Have ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud

Have Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools and techniques

Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

Preferred

Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting

Experience or knowledge of Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
