Responsibilities
Identifies critical areas for improvement in the technology used
Aid in the development and deployment of cloud targeted tools to identify and reduce risk
Regularly meet with cloud security and infrastructure teams to ensure cloud resources are configured according to established cloud security standard methodologies
The main point of responsibility in data security efficiency in terms of ensuring it operates according to governance and compliance policies
Monitor and analyze security events using cloud-native security tools and SIEM solutions.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is accepted
5+ years of systems administration experience
2 - 4 years of cloud security operations experience for a large-scale company
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with implementing and running security controls in cloud environments
Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001)
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Azure, and AWS cloud services and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in implementing secure solutions
Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies within a multicloud environment
Experience in CI\CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
Strong problem-solving in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for action
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detail
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and standard methodologies in cloud security.
Preferred
Certifications not required, but encouraged: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, CISSP, CCNA, CCSP, CCIE Security, or other security-related certifications
Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership capabilities
Hands-on experience using and/or configuration of one or more of the following are a plus: Powershell, Terraform, Splunk
