Responsibilities

Managing Boyd's Project team to successfully complete the installation of Boyd's thermal cooling systems.

Partnering with the overall project team to ensure project deadlines are met.

Coordinating with the customer-appointed general contractor to align the thermal cooling project schedule with overall building plans.

Troubleshooting cooling system issues with support from Boyd tech support team.

Ensuring contractors comply with negotiated contract documents designated by customer demand.

Resolving conflicts within the team before they become an issue.

Issuing daily reports, noncompliance notices, and cost/expense logs.

Reviewing progress of project-specific milestones & making recommendations for improvement.

Determining project progress and resolving problems with the project team.

Reporting weekly to management on project status and customer satisfaction indicators.

Communicating project status changes with Boyd management.

Performing product commissioning and hand-over to the customer.

Traveling up to 20% of the time.

Required

3+ years project management experience.

3+ years of field service experience.

Experience managing large project installations, preferably within new construction.

Strong mechanical aptitude & understanding of electromechanical systems and Cooling Distribution Units (CDU)

Hands-on experience with construction, field service or maintenance trades.

3+ years of working with and managing contractors / Field Service activities.

Associate’s degree in related field (engineering preferred)

Project Management experience (PMI or PMP certifications preferred)

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in project management or engineering

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.

Experience with Liquid Cooling technologies.

Knowledge of PLC function & interfacing (RS485, ethernet, etc.)
