Business Development Manager

Responsibilities
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Network with entrepreneurs, founders and start up people at events and co-working locations
Build quality relationships with key service providers in order to generate referrals
Perform needs analysis of potential clients
Coordinate sales effort with cross-functional team members
Prepare proposals that present, promote, and sell our services using solid arguments to prospective clients
Manage the sales pipeline updates
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

Required
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years as a sales representative
Oral and Written Communication --Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings. Professional phone presence. Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively.
Planning/Organizing-- Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.
Relationship Management— Builds trust, respects the needs of others, takes the time to understand the other person’s point of view, speaks the client’s language, understands what drives them, and knows exactly when to translate what you know into action.
Work Environment – Has the ability to work effectively within a remote setting with the expectation to visit client locations and attend associated events.
Travel – This role has an expectation of up to 25% travel.
Technology – Well versed in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with BRM and CRM practices.
