Responsibilities

Establish a Kuiper Security policy program to manage policies throughout their lifecycle

Translate existing policies from multiple sources into clear, concise, and polished Kuiper security policy.

Provide business specific interpretations of Kuiper security policies

Develop and maintain reference materials including policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines

Translate and align government policies and emerging regulations into company policies.

Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure compliance with information security policies

Research existing Amazon and AWS policies, determine what can be leveraged through the policies, and write new Kuiper policy content that will bridge the gap between the organizations

Independently gather information from various subject matter experts across security, legal, regulatory, privacy, and compliance departments to develop, organize, and write policies

Design policies to uphold ITAR & EAR security, regulatory, and legal standards, to allow for easy delineation of data classifications and consumption by end users

Manage policy life cycle including exceptions, updates and stakeholder management
