Responsibilities
Address customer questions and/or concerns regarding FOD services
Maintain equipment histories
Review plans and specifications for building renovation, repair, and construction projects
Work on Preventative Maintenance program, including Asset review, preventative, corrective, predictive items within the CMMS
Monitor contractor compliance with plans and specifications
Coordinate training and resolve issues
Collaborate with operations groups to address equipment design, planning, installation, and operation
Represent FOD in operation, planning, and design meetings
Identify issues of access, maintainability, and standardization for operations groups in renovation and construction projects
Participate in commissioning and review of building design standards
Attend and participate in design and construction review meetings
Manage contract compliance, reports, and coordination of services with other trades managers
Ensure campus building fire protection systems are performed with high quality and meet safety requirements

Required
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent (i.e. 5 or more years applicable experience, journeyperson certification in applicable trade, etc.)
Valid Driver's License
Knowledge of mechanical and or electrical equipment and systems, building standards, building systems maintenance, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, lubrication techniques & materials, measurement equipment and related recording systems
Ability to understand and interpret technical instructions and plan reading
Preferred
Technical training in building systems operations and building system controls
