Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the engineering department.
Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on board.
Monitor the performance of engines, generators, and other machinery, conducting regular inspections and maintenance.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance vessel performance.
Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Coordinate with the Chief Engineer and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient vessel operations.
