Responsibilities
Oversight of a portfolio of institutional library accounts subscribing to the ACM’s publications database of scholarly content products and services
Preparation of detailed multi-institution price quotes for major accounts and explanation of organization’s license models and pricing
Professional account management, support, and outreach via email, in-person, telephone, and other virtual communications
Clerical management of licensing and invoicing procedures and accounts receivables responsibilities
Basic technical customer support

Required
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role for a scientific or scholarly publishing organization
Familiarity with Open Access (OA) publishing, associated rights and licensing, and some knowledge of global OA initiatives and funding models
Experience with contract negotiations and management, including editing/redlining/trafficking
Comfortable with delivering webinars/presentations/demonstrations to audiences both large and small
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented and positive, problem-solving mindset
Must be comfortable working with data
Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Preferred
Preferred familiarity with large international procurement processes
Successful candidates would preferably be based in person at the organization’s New York City headquarters, but remote employment candidates with exceptional qualifications will be considered
Light travel is required for the position (20% maximum)
