Responsibilities

Design and engineer high-quality millwork projects including woodwork, casework, veneer paneling, cabinetry, fixtures, moulding, trim, architectural metal, and solid surface.

Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements, and provide engineering solutions that meet the design intent and budget.

Produce detailed and accurate shop drawings using CAD software.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of the millwork engineering process.

Evaluate and select materials, hardware, and finishes for each project.

Conduct quality control checks regularly to ensure high standards are maintained.

Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing process.

Continually research and implement new techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and quality of millwork projects.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Woodworking, or related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, with a focus on woodwork, casework, veneer paneling, cabinetry, fixtures, moulding, trim, architectural metal, and solid surface.

Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.

Excellent understanding of millwork manufacturing processes, materials, hardware, and finishes.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to design challenges.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex engineering concepts and solutions to non-engineers.

Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.

Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.

A strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

A passion for millwork and a desire to continually learn and improve.
