Improve selection from both eater and merchant lens to encourage growth and profitability.

Execute on strategic growth and profitability levers to create a network effect.

Collaborate with web and mobile engineers to build APIs.

Analyze features in production using analytics and experiments.

Work on scalability engineering and distributed systems.

Fix production issues and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Required

Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.

Experience using one of the following: (e.g. Go, Java, Python, C++ or C)

Experience with writing, releasing, and maintaining distributed backend code

Experience working with web and mobile engineers and building APIs that they can use.

Experience analyzing a feature in production using analytics and experiments

Preferred

8-years full-time Software Engineering work experience

Product engineering

Scalability engineering

Distributed systems

Experience in consumer search space

Experience in working closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Designers.

Experience in fixing production issues
