Responsibilities

Oversee and support strategic decisions at national, regional, and local levels.
Expand brand presence through annual marketing plans and local media opportunities.
Improve results of under-performing assets with innovative methods and programs.
Analyze financial results and recommend promotions to meet goals.
Anticipate and react to competitive activity within markets.
Ensure implementation of marketing/merchandising plans by communicating with operations.
Maximize marketing opportunities by identifying and implementing best practices.
Prepare annual budget, analyze variances, and take corrective actions.
Maintain staff through recruitment, training, coaching, and performance appraisals.
Stay updated with industry knowledge and contribute to team targets.
Manage third-party accounts and direct reports.
Focus on customer needs and drive commercial success.
May require up to 30% travel.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
Five to seven years of experience working with marketing, merchandising, and communication and/or related field; including a minimum of three years of management responsibility.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator).
Must possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Proven success record with media relations/PR campaigns.
Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.
Must be well organized and possess the ability to handle multiple responsibilities under constant deadlines with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
Track record of managing third-party accounts and/or direct reports.
Customer focus: Identifies and understands customer needs and puts them first in all activities and efforts.
Commercial mindset: Goes the extra mile to drive the commercial success of the company.
Creative thinker who has proficient design skills.
May require up to 30% travel.
