Responsibilities

Monitor tests across the ILT/Probe fleet to ensure test cells perform within specification and deliver valid, accurate data.

Perform gauge repeatability and reliability (GRR) measurements to evaluate accuracy and similarity between test cells.

Interface regularly with characterization engineers, failure analysis, and process integration to validate tester performance and identify priority action items.

Collaborate and train ILT/Probe engineering technicians to support the test sector.

Develop and debug tests using a test cell or bench setup.

Provide guidance to the fab maintenance team to assist with issues impacting tester availability for production use.

Create scripts to analyze data and diagnostic logs collected from test cells and ease support for the test floor.

Lead key projects to improve test capability, efficiency, and processes.

The active team participates in new PN Readiness/execution, including Inline Test Build requirement, tracking lead PNs, Maintaining appropriate disposition rules for each, etc.

Required

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Solid State Physics

0-2 years of relevant experience

Basic knowledge of Semiconductor Processing

Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments & scripting (Perl, sed, awk)

Exposure to an object-oriented programming language (Python, C++, Java, etc.)

Strong knowledge of electrical concepts

Preferred

Experience using bench test equipment (oscilloscopes, parametric analyzers and multimeters)

Experience – 1 Yr Statistical analysis and electrical characterization

Familiarity with 5S, 6σ, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

Experience in manufacturing metrics and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment

Demonstrate ability to work well within a global matrixed team/environment with minimal supervision and effective communication

Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs, deadlines and commitments

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety, and security requirements and programs
