Responsibilities

Identify and lead the sourcing and tracking of potential Business Development opportunities in line with the firm’s services and geographic objectives.

Participate in Client and company BD Pursuit Meetings and work closely with internal/external marketing and technical/engineering staff to develop successful Responses to RFPs and RFQs.

Understand and comply with RFP/RFQ requirements - Lead the response in coordination with Pursuit Manager.

Develop responses to RFPs/RFQs with effective communication, verbal and technical writing (writing samples required).

Develop content for proposals and presentations based on input and guidance from engineers and BD Leaders.

Prioritize and manage workload while working as part of the BD team to get the overall work of the BD Department completed.

Implement EAC’s BD process including the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) project database development and maintenance.

Maintain marketing materials including resumes, project descriptions, photographs, etc.

Assist in company branding and social media strategy implementation.

Represent EAC at key industry events that furthers our BD strategy.

Required

Typically 2 years or more experience in business development or related experience.

Proficiency with CRM programs and/or achieve proficiency with EAC’s CRM within six months of hire date.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; or understanding that basic knowledge and use of these are needed within six months of hire date.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field.
