Responsibilities

Assist cutting operator with all functions related to the cutting process

Perform make readies and operation on cutting machinery

Verify proper job before feeding the press

Provide daily quality checklist during pallet inspections

Assist with make ready and preventive maintenance activities

Help with running jobs with embossing inline

Keep daily time and materials usage reports

Assist with machine disassembly for minor repairs

Perform hand packing as needed

Other duties as assigned

Required

Some experience in duties of qualified Sheet Fed Cutting Operator, including make readies and operation

Some experience on cutting machinery similar or same as Sheet fed cutting equipment such as: Bobst 162 CER, Bobst 1600 ER, Bobst 103, and Bobst 126-BMA

Manufacturing experience preferred

Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required

Ability to read and interpret documents

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to speak effectively before groups

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent

Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs

Ability to solve practical problems

Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables

Ability to interpret instructions
