Responsibilities

Provide Visual Basic (VBA) updates to standard production forms such as Production Schedule 2.0, Tech Review Forms, and BOM Comparisons.

Responsible for updating the engineering priorities sheet based on schedule changes and tracking changes to priorities.

Provide initial documentation and processes for New Product Introductions, including completing the NPI log and determining build types.

Provide estimates for new quotes, focusing on the BDO cost model as requested.

Offer production support, recommend process changes, support new products, and review defects.

Provide engineering support on BOM scrubs and component reviews, and represent engineering on document control needs.

Team coordination with other team members is essential.

Able to successfully perform mathematical and physics calculations

Project planning and drafting skills are essential

Problem-solving skills with ability to devise technical and creative solutions to a variety of issues that may arise to prevent delays and keep projects moving

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Knowledge of component identification is required

Individuals must pass the Component ID and IPC-A-610 Solder Inspection Trainings

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required
