Responsibilities

Document security incidents, assess damages, construct incident timelines, determine root causes, and provide remediation guidance.

Perform proactive threat hunting initiatives, review alerts, and stay current on threat intelligence trends.

Maintain detection rule libraries, create requirements for Security Orchestration Automation and Response procedures, and provide escalation support to the Security Operations Center.

Mentor lower-level analyst groups and share information on vulnerabilities and campaigns via security bulletins.

Stay current on threat intelligence trends and news to share information on new vulnerabilities and campaigns via security bulletins.

Maintain detection rule libraries and create requirements for Security Orchestration Automation and Response procedures and playbooks.

Provide escalation support to the Security Operations Center and mentorship to lower-level analyst groups.

Bachelor's Degree

Relevant Work Experience 5-7 Years
