Responsibilities
Act as the Project Engineer for drinking water distribution projects.
Work alongside Project Managers, Technical Managers, staff engineers, planners, and funding specialists to deliver projects.
Working on engineering reports and construction documents and overseeing the construction of their designs.
Supporting Client Managers and Project Managers in the development of proposals and agreements.

Required
6-10 years of engineering experience
B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer
Technical and project delivery experience in the field of civil and/or environmental engineering
Understanding of engineering concepts associated with all types of municipal water systems
Well-versed in state and federal regulations regarding water systems
Coordinating the work of engineers and developing and monitoring schedule and budget components of larger projects
Experience leading the design team or specific design components
Experience in Construction Administration, including bidding & award, submittal review, oversight of on-site engineers, and review of pay applications, change orders, and RFIs
Making decisions independently
Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under supervision
Interacting with clients and representing the firm in a professional manner
Preferred
Experience with wastewater and stormwater applications
Familiarity with master planning, hydraulic modeling, pumping, LCRR compliance, treatment, and the SRF Loan Program
