Responsibilities

Design and implement HW and SW solutions including documentation, testing & modification, schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, and parts lists.

Test and evaluate hardware and software designs to ensure proper operation.

Understand the significance of their role within a 24x7 mission essential TTO and be able to support varying schedules to ensure mission coverage. Shifts range from day shift (0545-1345), swing shift (1345-2145), and mid shift (2145-0545).

Required

1+ years of Hardware/Software Engineering experience

BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field

Preferred

Experience supporting a range of analytical products and functions to allow for development of signal exploitation capabilities.

Experience analyzing requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

Experience with hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components to include servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and special processors.

Knowledge of the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
