Responsibilities

Demand Planning and Forecasts: Serves as the owner of the plan or forecast, drives understanding of what is required to achieve the plan, performs data analyses, develops short and long term demand forecasts, partners closely with other departments, defines forecast KPIs, tracks forecast performance, and develops plans to improve performance.

Capacity Planning: Balances and optimizes a capacity plan, drives supply-demand match and mitigation plans, serves as a subject matter expert, and supports decision making with a profit and loss mindset.

Finished Goods Inventory: Designs solutions to adjust to changes in demand, oversees reworking of finished goods, and addresses excess goods by repurposing them.

Machine Learning and Analysis: Collaborates with others to leverage data, optimizes analysis using algorithms, uses statistical analysis tools for evaluating Machine Learning models, calibrates metrics, and leverages industry standard demand planning methodologies.

Analysis and Insight Generation: Interprets data, compares results across multiple methodologies, provides recommendations based on multiple studies, identifies opportunities for in-depth analysis, and informs business decisions.

Lifecycle Management: Manages hardware and software roadmap, develops solutions to manage lifecycle changes, and launches through decommission plans and strategies.

Risk Management: Identifies, communicates, and actively mitigates capacity risk, manages risk to financial plans, sales, and margins, and creates the correct buffer and inventory strategy.

Continuous Improvement: Drives continuous improvement work, defines and manages strategic implementation for new and improved processes, and provides key insights for strategic visions.

Equivalent Experience

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experience

OR equivalent experience

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 8+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experience
