Responsibilities

Think out of the box to implement high-performing, scalable solutions

Lead/participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide engineering initiatives

Keep up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in frontend and backend development, AWS services, and software engineering best practices

Lead/participate in the development of Micro UIs for the application

Design, develop and maintain fast and responsive APIs built on AWS

Develop and manage secure data pipelines for services

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of services

Mentor junior team members as needed

Required

5+ years of experience in development on AWS or similar cloud highly desired

5+ years experience writing reactive web apps in TypeScript, NodeJS, HTML/CSS. NextJS experience a bonus

Experience building reactive JavaScript-based web apps with cross-browser compatibility

Experience implementing designs and integrating systems with modern design frameworks like MUI, Tailwind, etc

Experience with RESTful API microservice designs using Java/Springboot

Working knowledge of databases, including MYSQL and NOSQL

Preferred

Bonus - graphQL and AWS serverless experience
