Responsibilities
Responsible for detailing and drafting structural steel components such as beams, columns, connections, floor plate, cross bracing, and anchor bolts for construction projects.
Collaborate with internal and external project managers and engineers, as well as other teams like engineering, sales, marketing, accounting, and manufacturing.
Provide drawings for fabrication and final construction drawings to customers, and offer customer service and design for manufacturability.
Provide technical support to the business development team, including travel to domestic and international customers (up to 10% per year).

Required
Post-secondary degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting or Mechanical Design
Experience focused in the fabrication of Structural Steel and Construction
Candidate should have good communication skills, both written and verbal
Prefer at least 5 years’ experience
Preferred
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor Suite, Tekla, Advanced Steel, RISA and Revit
