Responsibilities
Accurately process orders in the ERP system, ensuring all data is correct and up-to-date.
Ensure all orders comply with fabrication standards and requirements.
Review and analyze current fabrication processes for jobs in ERP system to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Review and analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with the engineering team to understand product requirements and specifications.
Communicate any changes in processes or specifications to relevant departments promptly as needed.
Monitor and maintain the quality of products throughout the fabrication process.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any process-related issues that arise.
Review product specifications to ensure they are compatible with our fabrication capabilities.
Successfully release work orders to the shop floor using the ERP system and effectively communicate with the appropriate team members.
Verify that labor and material quantities align with product specifications.
Maintain accurate and organized records within the ERP system.
Effectively communicate order details and requirements to the appropriate team members.
Provide timely updates on order status and any changes to the relevant departments.
Liaise with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and address any concerns.
Create and maintain documentation for all order processing and release procedures.

Required
Metal shop/fabrication experience
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings with the ability to detect mistakes
Experience with ERP systems, Global Shop Solutions is a plus
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
