Responsibilities
Provide guidance and lead a team of engineers to build quality software solutions for our Associates and Members that reduce waste and gain efficiency.
Work closely with the Program and Product Manager, and Scrum Champion to ensure engineering work is pointed and prioritized correctly.
Design and develop in large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.
Direct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues.
Ensure Software Quality Engineering by keeping the engineers up to date on best practices, automated code testing, alerts, reporting, and taking a proactive approach to production running app support.

Required
Prior experience in AdTech
Strong senior level engineering expertise in medium to large size company.
Prior experience of building and deploying web applications after prototyping.
Proven experience in hiring and mentoring world-class engineering teams.
Leading large scale systems in fast-paced environments.
Experience in working in large teams using CI/CD and agile methodologies.
Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems (or related field)
5+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Web Applications
5+ years of programming experience using Typescript/JavaScript, React, Redux, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, REST, Web Services
5+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must
4+ years of experience with Open-Source technologies
3+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model
Experience with Typescript/JavaScript
React, Redux expertise
NodeJS ecosystem expertise
Prior experience with large scale web applications
REST API development
SQL/MySQL/MSSQL
JAVA
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences
Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
Knowledge of assistive technologies
Integration of digital accessibility seamlessly
Knowledge of accessibility best practices
Experience in creating accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture
