Responsibilities

Contribute to the vision and best practices of Halo's user experience with the goal of being “UX Led”

Produce best-in-class, accessible, user-friendly experience designs catered towards Halo fans the world over

Own and contribute to UX Design Systems with tools like Figma

Rapidly prototype UX Designs in Figma and in-engine

Refine your designs through iterative design cycles that include testing and evaluation

Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure user experience excellence throughout the entire the gaming experience

Communicate and present your design ideas, user flows, wireframes, and specification documentation to Designers, Producers, Engineers, Partners, User Research, and Management

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design

OR Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design

OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).

2+ year experience working with User Researchers and methodologies

A history of successful user experience design for high quality entertainment products, websites, native applications, or software

Preferred

Experience working with Unreal Engine

Previous experience with console/PC titles with at least one shipped AAA game

Passion for games a plus

Previous experience with large, fiction-rich games or entertainment franchises

You are comfortable working in an exciting, fast-paced, deadline-driven working environment
