Responsibilities

Work on a platform engineering team which supports the development of performant and reliable applications across FanDuel.

Contribute to conversations to remove blockers and foster collaboration across teams.

Collaborate with various cross-functional software engineering teams to enhance and unify the overarching engineering culture.

Translate overarching strategic goals into actionable and detailed plans that can be readily implemented by engineers.

Demonstrate technical proficiency across the organization.

Champion standards and baselines for uplifting engineering across FanDuel.

Develop and implement engineering tools seamlessly integrated into the Development Lifecycle.

Required

Deep familiarity with hosting technologies Kubernetes, EC2, ECS, Lambda

Proficient experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, etc..

Experience in software development (e.g. Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc..)

Strong experience with delivering programs and projects via tools like Jira

Transform strategic objectives into actionable programs of work, leading to the execution of effective and successful outcomes

Proficient in developing applications related to Platform engineering, Infrastructure engineering, Devops, etc..

Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
