Responsibilities

Coordinates activities and resources for small to medium-sized projects impacting multiple departments, systems, and work flows.

Collaborates with project team to develop, maintain, and project manage aspects of projects.

Develops and maintains project infrastructure related to tools, processes, and resources.

Manages work plans for sub teams within complex projects.

Maintains schedule within Project software platform.

Prioritizes assignments, identifies more effective methods of work operation, and adapts to workload changes.

Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

Establishes cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health and external organizations.

Communicates effectively to ensure appropriate coordination across project delivery team.

Required

HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

4 years recent relevant experience

Working knowledge of general Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and project management methodologies and/or Sutter Health’s project methodology and project management methodology

Thorough understanding of current trends and strategies in healthcare

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Excel

Demonstrated ability to maintain schedule within Project software platform

Prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner

Work independently and identify potentially more effective methods of work operation

Perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands

Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues to accomplish team objectives

Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience

Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations

Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure appropriate communications and coordination across project delivery team
