Responsibilities

Build, design, and implement scalable cloud-based platform services

Work on significant assignments covering a wide range of complex issues

Deliver high-quality and complex software ensuring a great customer experience

Ensure the cross-functional team delivers on the right priorities to create effective solutions

Contribute to early quality activities like peer reviews, estimates, designs, and code

Partner effectively with team members to meet commitments

Required

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Experience coding in Java, Spring frameworks, Python, Go, or Kotlin

Experience coding in one of the leading JavaScript / Typescript frameworks

Deep knowledge/experience with data architecture: SQL, NoSQL, and data caching technologies/in-memory databases such as MemCached and Redis

Experience working with large volumes of data and knowledge of big data machine learning techniques

Strong foundation in RESTful APIs, data structures, algorithms, software design and security

Expertise in working with container deployment and orchestration technologies at scale with strong knowledge of the fundamentals to include service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Go and Docker preferred

Experience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and PagerDuty

Building strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent, cross-functional leader

Experience designing and maintaining large-scale backend web services

Passionate about building and running distributed systems at scale in production

Experience with Agile Development, Scrum methodologies

Preferred

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Go and Docker
