Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise focusing on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security

Plan, evaluate, recommend, design, operationalize, and support solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards

Develop and maintain technical solutions adhering to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements

Contribute to the technical direction of future versions of the liquidity platform

Develop a deep understanding of securities liquidity and funding functions across different asset classes

Work in a dynamic environment with direct engagement to global stakeholders

Collaborate efficiently within a global team

Communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment aligned with business priorities

Required

5+ years of Java experience, with a strong understanding of JVM internals

Experience of the Spring stack and experience in microservice development using Spring Boot

Experience in designing and integrating with REST APIs, gRPC endpoints

Experience of messaging technologies (preferably Kafka)

Experience of Hadoop, Spark, Parquet or similar Big Data technologies

Experience with RDBMS, demonstrable fluency in SQL

Experience of Azure (preferable) or AWS, Google Cloud

Experience of Git, CI/CD toolset (Maven / Gradle), Jenkins, working within an Agile environment

Strong understanding of clean coding practices

Experience in collaborating efficiently within a global team

Strong communication skills

Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced environment, and supportive of flexible goals aligned with business priorities

Bachelor or Graduate degree Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)

7 + years relevant experience

Preferred

Knowledge of the following would be a plus: Scala, Angular, React, Python, Excel integration, ELK, TypeScript

Knowledge of capital markets products is a plus
