Responsibilities

Responsible for leading all engineering efforts for a complex project or projects on time and budget

Ensure design compliance with all project requirements

Review customer specifications and requirements, and lead a project team to develop designs

Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments

Communicate clearly with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and the customer

Participate heavily in the preparation of proposals

Interact with technical management and other professionals to coordinate technical activities

Lead project teams

Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the organization's mission, values, and culture

Mentor and coach less experienced engineers

Establish and manage a technical baseline, including requirements management

Monitor engineering performance and address issues immediately

Perform as an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Control Account Manager

Support multidisciplinary program reviews and presentations

Facilitate various meetings and planning sessions

Support and/or lead RF performance analysis

Prepare and execute technical and independent reviews

Required

Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 10 years of experience

Mastery of technologies and domain knowledge

Expected to have knowledge and experience in multiple engineering disciplines

Ability to independently lead a team of engineers to complete a complex project or projects

Strong customer relations, negotiation skills, and decision-making abilities

Demonstrated project leadership including cost, schedule, and technical responsibility of complex electronics subsystems with significant RF, Digital, and/or Software components

Experience as an Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) Lead or Technical Lead

Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Dashboard

Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, Scrum; Failure Reporting and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS)
