Responsibilities

Maintain a profitable book of business through effective sales techniques, risk assessments, and underwriting principles.

Serve as the primary interface with clients and brokers, providing professional advice on insurance coverages and risk management.

Establish risk improvement priorities in collaboration with Account Engineers and ensure client compliance with loss prevention recommendations.

Protect company assets through sound underwriting practices and adherence to guidelines.

Collect outstanding premium balances in a timely manner and continue professional development to stay updated on industry developments.

Provide leadership to the account team and implement the Account Business Plan effectively.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

2+ years FM Global experience or 4+ years industry experience (broker/insurance company) in servicing/underwriting large property accounts of varying occupancies

Knowledge of property insurance and forms, financial statements, general loss prevention engineering terms and concepts as well as business computer applications

Demonstrated above average ability in organization, problem solving, sales/negotiation, leadership and team building

Knowledge of internal systems and Microsoft Office products
