Responsibilities
Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless fabrication and erection of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, joist, and metal deck for assigned projects.
Read specifications and blueprints to determine material locations, quantities, and sizes.
Create and maintain project schedules from preconstruction planning to closeout procedures.
Communicate and coordinate with other project contractors to maintain schedule, deliver materials, and resolve design conflicts.
Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to coordinate the steel package with other trade contractors.
Prepare, review, and maintain critical project documents in hard copy and electronic formats.

Required
Proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications and blueprints
Strong organizational skills for creating and maintaining project schedules
Effective communication skills for coordinating with project contractors and resolving design conflicts
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
Proficient in utilizing document management systems to organize and maintain critical project documents
2-4 Year post-secondary degree in construction or engineering program, or similar experience in general construction
Proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong problem-solving mindset
