Responsibilities

Independently manage multiple complex technology and software projects, and liaise between clients and stakeholders throughout the entire project lifecycle (discovery, planning, development, QA, and delivery).
Oversee and quality-control the production and maintenance of technical documentation such as requirements, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
Partner with team leads and account managers to plan and allocate resources, assign tasks, and prioritize workload based on deliverable expectations and deadlines.
Maintain real-time knowledge of in-progress work, upcoming tasks, and critical deadlines on assigned projects.
Conduct effective meetings and discussions with colleagues, clients, and contractors, and efficiently produce actionable documentation and necessary follow-up tasks.
Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and demonstrations, standup meetings, retrospectives, and documentation management and reporting.
Translate advanced technical concepts into non-technical language for broad stakeholder comprehension.
Proactively identify risks and impediments, and coordinate the necessary activities to mitigate them.
Regularly report on project status to internal stakeholders and clients. Ensure the quality of project deliverables and provide actionable feedback to team members if revisions or refinements are necessary.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or greater in computer science, information technology, or related field.
7+ years of project management experience owning delivery and reporting of successful web software application development projects in cloud-based environments.
5+ years of client- or customer-facing experience managing multiple enterprise-level client relationships simultaneously.
3+ years of experience as a software developer.
Highly knowledgeable in the digital product design and development lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of software development principles and ability to collaborate closely with engineers, designers, analysts, and strategists to rapidly estimate, plan, and execute complex development tasks.
Understanding and demonstrated application of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Exemplary attention to detail, communication, analytical and abstract thinking, and organizational skills.
Technical subject matter expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java, and software frameworks such as FastAPI, Spring, and Flask, to drive project success.
Demonstrated ability to explain complex software development concepts and best practices to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to partner closely with developers, solutions architects, and business analysts to outline requirements, assess and flag risks and scope concerns, motivate and support contributing team members, and drive successful execution and delivery of workstreams and project components.
Understanding of human-centered design, accessibility, and UX best practices. Business management experience including budget planning and review, scope management, risk identification and mitigation, resourcing allocation, and forecasting.
Experience in producing and maintaining product documentation.
Experience using project management tools such as Basecamp, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics, and Wrike.
Availability in US EDT business hours 9am to 5pm is required, with some opportunity for exceptions.
Up to 10% travel (domestic and international) is required for this position.
