Responsibilities

Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents, and maintains computing applications

Gathers and evaluates end user technical requirements

Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design

Analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, and application security needs

Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality

Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems

Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements

Operates using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)®)

Required

1+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud

1+ years of experience with web application architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or cloud-based development

1+ years of experience in API development

1+ years of experience operating in an Agile development environment

1+ years of experience using Java

Experience with Software Security techniques such as X.509

Must meet export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Preferred

3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with Data Architecture, Modeling, and/or Database Development

Experience with Open Telemetry, Java Agents, JMX, or similar monitoring tooling

Hands-on experience with all of the following technologies: C++, GIT, Maven, Spring/Spring Boot, JMS, Kafka, Karaf, Camel, XML technologies, JSON/YAML technologies, APIs, container images, microservices, and Kubernetes
