Responsibilities

Performs duties associated with the administration of quality assurance provisions of contracts by designing, implementing, and maintaining a risk-based surveillance program and assessment plan.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements through analysis of process measurement data.
Serves as a member of a multi-functional or technical team, responsible for implementing the overall Quality Program for a diversity of products and services in support of U.S. Government acquisition at one or more supplier's facilities.
Ensures contractor compliance with all requirements related to the design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and modernization of a variety of items for contractor and customer activities throughout the world.
Performs audits/surveillance of contractor's processes to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
Investigates and provides data on customer complaints/concerns regarding contractors' quality performance and processes which impact user satisfaction.
Provides technical support to all other DCMA team members, assisting in the analysis of contract related issues to determine the best course of action to support the contractor and customers.

Must be a U.S. citizen
Security Requirements: Special Sensitive requiring incumbent to obtain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security access.
Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.
Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
Three years of progressively responsible general experience, one year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 or GS-04 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
Experience in fields such as quality control, quality inspection, contracting and purchasing, supply and storage, industrial or production planning, research and engineering, maintenance, and test and evaluation that provided familiarity with quality assurance or related work, pertinent product or process knowledge and skill, ability to interpret and apply contract requirements and engineering specifications, and skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships.
