Responsibilities

Executing daily logistics transactional tasks through efficient planning of inventory, shipments, and tendering of loads to carriers using various systems.

Monitoring inventory levels and bottling line attainment to support just-in-time (JIT) throttling of components to production lines.

Planning trucking needs and capacity based on customer delivery requirements.

Proactively solving problems, resolving carrier issues, and escalating when necessary.

Utilizing various systems, such as OTM, Swisslog, Softeon, C3 Reservations/Dock Scheduler, and SAP, to execute daily tasks.

Checking in and checking out carriers utilizing the appointment system.

Executing transactions based on customer requirements in the Warehouse Management System.

Completing and distributing all necessary shipping documentation accurately and in compliance with protocols.

Required

High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate and 2 years of experience in operations, transportation, truck dispatching, warehousing, or customer service

Willingness to work twelve-hour shifts, including day or night shifts, as required

Experience with multitasking and time management

Skills in Excel, Outlook, Access Database, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
