Responsibilities

Draft cable plans for civil planning in commercial areas.

Size serving boundaries using GIS address data.

Lay out feeder routes, distribution routes, and drops to premises.

Determine fiber allocations and review field staking sheets.

Choose the best construction method for design.

Produce constructible design packages using GIS-based software ArcMap.

Provide CAD support for fiber systems through creation of permit plan and profile drawings, construction drawings, and conduit designs.
