Responsibilities
Interpreting Engineering Drawings/Blueprints and creating programs for CNC Mills in Nx.
Offline programming in a dedicated computer room.
Collaborating with machinists to set up the machine and run parts to prove them out.
Conducting quality checks on finished parts using micrometers and calipers.
Writing programs for 6 to 15 part numbers per week for engineering changes and improvements to existing products.
